Thing 16

I created a test wiki that I kept private.
On thing I noticed is the similarity in possible uses for a blog and a wiki.
Earlier in this course, I started a blog that talked about setting up a detailed inventory system on a computer. It was similar to a help manual - or even a poor man's 'Dummy' book. Inviting fellow workers to contribute to the blog produced an ongoing story of how to proceed. It is occasionaly necessary to edit a blog post as we learn new details.
A wiki can create similar results (especially if you use pages well). Editing and tracking posts is certainly easier in a wiki.
I haven't used either long or deeply enough to determine which is better suited for the end goal of creating a guide for this complicated task.
